Sofia Boyden, Prove You Wrong Review
Sofia Boyden was born in Missoula, Montana, and raised in Gig Harbor, Washington. Her love of music started early as she has been performing and writing songs since she was eight years old. Boyden was raised to always believe that hard work pays off and she applied that to her music. Her focus on songwriting and singing was constant and goal minded. Boyden’s true love has always been country music, and upon graduating she went to Nashville to work on her upcoming EP with Grammy nominated producer Jeff Pardo (Ben Rector, Lady Antebellum, Danielle Bradberry). The first single, “Blame It On My Heart,” is about being unapologetically you. “I wanted to write a song that tells what it really feels like when you’re head over heels a lot quicker than expected. This is a song for those people who go all in, even on the first date, and aren’t afraid to be themselves and feel what they feel,” says Boyden. The EP is set to release on November 8th of 2019. Now, Boyden is releasing the second single title, “Prove You Wrong.”
