Ryan Innes, You Are Gold Review

Ryan Innes grew up in the small town of Thatcher, Arizona.  As a youth, he was classically trained on piano and sang in the Phoenix Boys Choir and local church musical groups. When he was introduced to R&B, Innes felt a kinship that would change the course of his direction musically. Innes recalls, “The first thing that really caught my attention was a Boyz II Men album my friend gave me,” Innes recalls. “It was like nothing I’d experienced before. These people really expressing their emotions through their music and voices. It was completely different than the stuff I had grown up with. It really opened my eyes to music’s ability to speak to the listener.” Ironically Innes did not initially pursue music, he had set his path on the medical field, but after a life changing experience of discovering he really did not enjoy the medical field and a broken engagement, Innes changed course and the result is all history for this engaging artist on the move. Innes released his debut full-length album THE INBETWEEN in 2018, and now in 2019 a new single is a foot “You Are Gold,” and its everything you love most about Innes.
