Restless Soul was founded in 2016 by drummer and vocalist Cindy Golderg, Joined by lead vocalist Dorian Remis, Stephanie Leger on bass and vocals, Jesus Turrubiates, lead guitar and vocals and Aldo Jauregui, also on guitar and vocals. The group is a hard-hitting rock band with guitar laden tunes that offer a 60s style rock sound. The group has a new single titled “Sweet Lover,” that also features a companion video, ready to knock your sock off.

Its nice to see an experienced gen set getting into the game with a solid song, that hits all the right notes, and offers a nice edgy sound.

Bottom Line

Cindy Goldberg signals from the first notes she means business. “Sweet Lover,” has a hard hitting 80s sound that offers a throwback rock stock, that is quite befitting and timely. Goldberg sings “heartbreaker, heartbreaker, I’m still waiting for you,” which certainly brought me back to Benatar’s era where she sang about the elusive “heartbreaker.” Crunchy guitars, slamming drums and a throbbing bassline are all a part of the appeal of Restless Soul. That’s the short of it!
