Goodnight, Sunrise hails from Toronto, Canada. The group began in 2011 and found a common ground in the love of “pop hooks, EDM drops, and the raw power of classic rock,” as stated in their biography. The group has been honing their sounds with over 300 shows in their home country of Canada and the US and Europe, opening for such known acts as Bon Jovi, Monster Truck, and The Sheepdogs. Their latest single “WVV” focusing on the highs and lows of life and is accompanied with a video, that was directed by Nick Tiringer. Ruminations of summer, sun, sunsets, and silly dancing are all throughout this light-hearted video. Goodnight, Sunrise’s single is helmed by David Kochberg – vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards, synthesizers; Vanessa Vakharia – vocals; Michael Farina – drums; Kyle Marchant – additional production; and Derek Hoffman – additional production. Together they make a joyful sound.
