Hailing from the lush woods of Os, Norway, singer-songwriter Simen Mitlid crafts lush, Nordic indie-folk music. Similar to his contemporaries, Sufjan Stevens, Fleet Foxes and Patrick Watson they have an infectious sound that is highly memorable. Since Mitlid’s critically acclaimed 2017 debut album Everything Is the Same, he has been working on his second full length release. Self-produced and recorded in vivid locales in his hometown, the album is playful and wistful. “Saturdays” is the first single from the new album, an introspective indie folk song that has an beautifully ethereal emotive.
