Rachel Goodrich is a songwriter and vocalist from Miami, Florida. Goodrich has a wide range of musical styles that she convenes with her warm vocal timber. With witty lyrics, Goodrich is a blend of indie pop, swing, folk, and roots country. She started playing music at the early age of 9. Soon after picking up the guitar and piano. Soon songwriting became her focus, writing her first song at 12 years old. Goodrichʼs deep love for music has carried her from listening to her parent’s LP collection, performing original songs in grade school, attending Miami Dade College Jazz Program, to producing her first record. Goodrich released her debut album Tinker Toys in 2008 on her label, Yellowbear Records. The album features the single “Light Bulb,” which received national spotlight in a Crayola commercial and on the Showtime TV series, Weeds. In the summer of 2010, Goodrich went on to record her self-titled second album with Grammy-nominated producer, Greg Wells. Released in 2011 on Yellowbear Records, this record featured the song “Morning Light,” which found immediate spotlight on the NBC series, The Blacklist. Goodrich’s third studio album titled, Baby, Now Weʼre Even, was released on Yellowbear Records in 2014. After a few years of laying low, writing and recording, Goodrich released her first single, “The High Song,” off her upcoming album and is now releasing her second single, “Gucci.”. The new album is expected to come out in the summer of 2019. With lyrics that paint a picture of the emotions of insecurity and feeling of not being good enough or attractive enough. However, one can turn insecurities into confidence. Goodrich says, “Beauty lies within. We are all Gucci.”
