Paul Loren is a consummate soulful crooner, we had the opportunity to review his holiday album Holiday Cheers (Read Review HERE), it was evident from the start he was a bewitching singer. A native New Yorker, Loren was raised on the rich legacy of soul, classic pop, and the Great American Songbook. He is unapologetically authentic taking elements from early R&B, jazz and Brill Building pop, he is a credible artist with a soulful ease to his style. Loren has a new EP out Is… Right on Time! its apt title is exactly what the soul doctor ordered.

Is... Right on Time! has all the cherished sounds of the soul era. Finely tune horn arrangements by Loren and thematic undying lyrics about love. Loren’s voice is filled with passion, he bends his voice and wails with a darkly hued fervent that takes the tune to a fulfilling listen. Like others before him, Loren is carrying the torch of soulful crooners to a new generation of listeners. He is the perfect advocate for this timeless music, his authenticity and stirring songwriting pays homage to a legacy of music that will stand the test of time. That’s the short of it!
