Who is Girl Wilde? Well that remains to still be a secret. She may be keeping her true identity quiet for now, but Girl Wilde it is said, is not a newbie to the music world. Previously songwriting for others as well as her own past projects. Like most artists freedom is key to creativity. The Girl Wilde project was born from a desire to be unrestricted by genre, expectations, and trends. Blending influences of rock, pop, and electronic, Girl Wilde created her signature sound with her debut single “Bad Side,” and now with the release of her second single “Nervous Breakdown,” emotions are running high. That’s the short of it!

Bottom Line

Nervous Breakdown is laden with strong hooks. Heavy production values give the chorus a memorable melodic release, while the subtle additives of layering create an interest with vocal embellishments. At times Girl Wilde exhibits fragility in her voice, while others her commanding prowess soars. “Nervous Breakdown,” is a solid tune with hit potential from a mysterious artist, who is letting her music speak for her. Certainly, one to watch.
