Making danceable thunder from down under is Australian songwriter and singer Nick de la Hoyde. De la Hoyde’s music blends hip-hop and R&B with electronic and dance together with introspective lyrics to create his unique brand of future-pop. After pursuing a professional soccer career, he is now focusing on his true calling, music.  Nick and his long-time producer/collaborator/brother ZU/ZU have crafted a sound that is simultaneously intimate, expansive and engaging. He has penned confessional, real life anthems such as his feel good, ode to the golden state “California,” the tropical house flavors of “Hold Me Close,” and the subtle, melodies of “Love Takes Time.” With growing Australian, UK and stateside radio exposure, Nick has quickly made a name for himself, cultivating a large and dedicated on-line following as well as playing dates with MAX, Kid Ink, Rolling Loud Festival and many more performances. His music has been supported across every commercial radio network in Australia and has charted on the Australian Independent Radio Charts. He has received UK support from BBC Radio 1, KISS and Gaydio among others. Stateside, Nick has seen airplay on various singles landing on the Billboard BDS Top 40 Indicator and Mediabase Top 100 as well support from Sirius XM. De la Hoyde is now releasing a new single titled, “Animals,” which is the lead into his forthcoming debut album A Beautiful Mess, releasing later this summer.
