At 23 years old, singer songwriter Sylvia Aimee joins the ranks of countless artists inspired by the likes of Taylor Swift, Kacey Musgraves and Kelsea Ballerini. Aimee has appeared on the national television show De Wereld Draait Door, recorded two singles in Nashville, participated in a talent show ‘The Best Singer-Songwriter From The Netherlands’ (De Beste Singer-Songwriter van Nederland) and opened for Esmee Denters in Melkweg Amsterdam. She has an EP coming out later in 2019. “Wanted” is the first single of Aimee’s debut-EP, Superhero.

Aimee has an infectious voice that is filled with youthful exuberance. Her songwriting is equally polished. If this is an indicator of the EP to come, Aimee is leaps ahead in her journey towards a hit.

Bottom Line

Aimee is like the girl next door; her writing feels honest and easily connects the listener to her everyday people lyrics. Not afraid to show her vulnerability “Wanted” is a song that is relatable for all, the feeling of acceptance and the desire to be wanted on many levels in a new attraction. A fun and flirty tune, Aimee jumps in with abandon and pulls out a stellar performance on all fronts. That’s the short of it!
