JON AND ROY really connect as musical partners, their latest single “Here,” is a celebration of fulfilling connections and interpersonal relationships and the moments that make us feel connected. Says JON AND ROY “I think it's true that some of the time we all feel a little alien to this place we inhabit. That being said, there are always those times where we are brought back to the reality and beauty of our world. I think in these moments we feel happy because we are able to experience life as it is; a wondrous thing.” That connection to the joy, at times the loss love can bring is ever present in “Here.” The songwriting is excellent, well-crafted melodies and a hip feel that is a six four beat divided into a measure of four and a measure of two. Also captured on a companion video shot by Canadian filmmaker Grant Baldwin, an award-winning director known for his documentaries Just Eat It and This Mountain Life.
