A one-man band that has a sound that will energize your soul. Who? you might you ask – well its Baltimore’s own Chris Diller. His signature setup includes a kick drum, snare drum, tambourine, electric amps, harmonica and a crash cymbal triggered by a bicycle brake cable. To say he throws his entire body into it, would be an understatement. Since 2014 Diller’s one-man band has been on the road. His self-titled debut EP was met with high praise as well as his follow up album, Mother Nature Would Say. His latest single “Amen To That,” is a soulful mix of rock-folk and alt-country.

Bottom Line

Diller offers a laid-back country styled love song, that evokes an honesty and warmth that gets to the marrow of the subject. His soulful delivery is equally met by his heartfelt lyrics. When listening its easy to forget you are listening to one man create so much sound. “Amen To That,” is a classic story-line of sticking by someone through thick or thin, and how love will carry you through. His lyrics are well crafted and hit the mark. That’s the short of it!
